Description
Sierra-Nevada Wildflower Mix
This is a mixture of annuals, perennials, and native and introduced wildflower species that are known to grow well in the higher elevations and dry summers of the Sierra Nevada region of California and Nevada. The annuals will bloom the first year and the perennials will become established the first year and bloom in subsequent years. Overseeding with a mixture of all annual wildflower species each year will help to re-establish the seasonal flush of color until the perennials are fully established.
Species:
Blue Columbine, McKana Giants Columbine, Shasta Daisy, Pacific Aster, Perennial Lupine, Aspen Daisy, Larkspur, Plains Coreopsis, Lance-leaf Coreopsis, Black-Eyed Susan, Blue Flax, California Poppy, Purple Coneflower, Shirley Poppy, California Bluebells, Rocky Mountain Penstemon, Sweet William Pinks
