Description
Basket-of-Gold is a low-growing perennial that blankets the garden with brilliant golden-yellow flowers in early spring. Ideal for rock gardens, borders, raised beds, and cascading over walls, this hardy plant thrives in hot, dry locations and poor, rocky soils where many other plants struggle. The masses of cheerful blooms last 4–6 weeks, while the attractive gray-green evergreen foliage continues to provide ground cover long after flowering.
Growing just 6–12 inches tall and spreading up to 18 inches wide, Basket-of-Gold performs best in full sun and well-drained soils. Drought-tolerant and deer-resistant once established, it is an excellent choice for water-wise landscapes and elevations up to 9,000 feet. For the best appearance, trim spent flower stalks after blooming to maintain its tidy, mounding habit.
Looks beautiful planted alongside Purple Rockcress and or Candytuft.

Easy Planting Instructions:
