Description
Basket-of-Gold
This low-growing, introduced wildflower provides a golden cascade of early spring color for rock gardens and edges of beds or raised gardens. Great for hot, dry areas with poor soils. The spreading grey-green foliage forms a great ground cover even after the blooms fade. Trim off the spent flowers just above the foliage. Small clusters of golden-yellow flowers on slender branching stems. Germination temp.: 50-70 degrees F in 5 – 15 days. Press onto the surface of the soil in early spring.
