A beautiful,drought tolerant, penstemon that is loved by hummingbirds and other pollinators. This native to the high grasslands is a great plant for erosion control on sandy dunes, plains and grasslands or urban xeriscaping. Fall dormant plantings are best to break the dormancy of these seeds. The tall stalks with violet to pink flowers bloom in the early spring.
