Description
Spinacia oleracea
Very few leafy greens top heirloom spinach for easy-to-grow productivity and nutrition. This fast-growing variety produces a generous harvest of mouthwatering, tender leaves with superb flavor. The well-adapted plants thrive in cool weather, are slow to bolt and resist tip burn and downy mildew.
Peas and beans will provide your spinach with natural shade when planted together. Spinach also gets along well with cabbage, cauliflower, celery, eggplant, onions and strawberries.
