Description
A low growing, very pretty flower in colors from rose to white. English daisies have white ray florets (often rose-tipped) coming off of a yellow central disk. This plant is also used in several homeopathic remedies and the young leaves are edible in salads. In cool summer areas, plants can spread and be difficult to eradicate once established, so keep to flower beds and gardens, where they can be maintained. In hot summer areas, the plants will fade and die out in the heat of summer. Good for border fronts and rock gardens.
