This old-fashioned, extremely fragrant variety comes from the Mediterranean and southwest Asia. Sweet Sultan ‘Imperialis Mix’ has feathery, thistle-like blooms in a mixture of mauve, rose, lilac, and white flowers. This honey-scented, easy-to-grow variety grows to 2′-3′ feet tall and makes a great garden addition for cut flowers.
